Work has been nuts lately, but then again it always is around this time. I did manage to get a couple things painted during the breaks. Have to admit to really being into the painting grove right now. Its funny how sometimes I just want to assemble some of the cool models out there, and at other times I just really want to paint. Im guessing that if there was a really cool computer game out there though, I'd probably be hip deep into that. I have been working towards a large unit of 18 marauders (1 of 3) with custom wepons (2 handers). They look fabulous. The models I have painted have what I consider an awesome paint scheme. They look like a bunch of peasents with big wepons. Faded cloth and leather. The only really odd part is the flesh tones. I have a purple base to it because all my models in this army have that as the tie. looks cool. can't wait till I can actually do an army group shot. Anyway, here they are! Or some of them anyway...

Hmm, well its been a while since I posted something, but I have not been idle, as Im sure my patient wife can attest to. I did infact continue painting those chaos marauders and took a picture of the unit thus far.
Added to that this post contains two pictures of some lizzards I started to paint. I am using them as a test for speed techniques...but then the stegadon (Big model) got put together and I realized there was no way I could not make this a centerpiece model.
The little guys are quick though and I think I could probably do them fast if I get the chance.
There is still a large platform that goes on the stegadons back, kind of like what we sometimes see on the backs of elephants.
cheers,
Brad

Another weekend, another W.I.P
Here he is, the first of many new Orks. Inspired by sveral other blogs I have been following, this guy is know as a "Bad Moon Ork". I really love the look of the yellows on the wepon and shoulders. Not sure about the banner pole though. I will post links to my inspiration websites later. For now, enjoy this Work In Progress!

Taking the blog plunge
After a long time I have decided to get a blog up and running. I have been humming and hawing over this too. I don't know why. I just have. I think this may be a great place to put down what I'm thinking and working on for my current hobby (I think I have hobby ADHD).
cheers, B
First thing I want to put down on here is that I am currently working on a "warriors of chaos" army. This is for the warhammer gaming system. Its a fun table top game that I seem to be more interested in for the modeling and painting than the actual playing...but this goes in phases. So we'll see how long I can go before needing to play some games Badly!
Here is an example of one of my models I am working on.
